The UiTM Webitors’ English for Second Language Learners’ Autonomy Platform (UiTM WESLLAP) is a free-to-use website and serves to foster learners' autonomy in English language learning for ESL learners. UiTM WESLLAP integrates most of the English language skill materials needed for ESL learning into a single hub that is free to access online by ESL learners to improve their English proficiency. UITM WESLLAP also offers features for ESL instructors to suit their teaching and learning needs.

New announcements will be made through our WESLAPP Blog. Visitors can comment and interact with us using this platform.
Next are the WESLAPP eLearning Activities offered here. The activities are divided into different variety of skills to help ESL learners improving their English language proficiency ranging from Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing activities*.
(*As of now, only a few activities are available for access but more will be added soon!)
Listening activities consist of Songs, Podcasts and Stories. An MP3 playlist is made available for visitors to listen to on the website or to download free-of-charge for each listening activity.
Some Listening activities will also have videos that have subtitles for easier understanding. These videos are from YouTube and the channels for each video are given and acknowledged for visitors to visit by clicking the links. This is to encourage interested learners to explore the respective channels more. The same is applied to some Reading activities such as Reading Stories in which visitors can explore other channels. with the links given.
Some activities, especially Listening and Reading, have forum discussion questions for learners to participate in. The links provided will bring visitors to our WESLAPP Forum section. This provides learners opportunities to share their opinions on certain stories they have listened or read that can help them further their critical thinking skills.
Each activity will have its own downloadable worksheet and/or online quiz. Stories and worksheets are in PDF format.
In the Speaking sections such as Role Play, Oral Presentation and Group Interaction, video examples of ESL learners are shown as reference. Each category is parked under a special Channel for easy access. Visitors can just click the Channel link on any of the videos to view the collection of videos in that specific channel.
Another interesting aspect in WESLLAP is the Language Games section. Visitors are given links to various learning game websites in which UiTM Webitors are a member of. Learners can explore and play the games designed by UiTM Webitors in this website immediately.
For UiTM English lecturers and students, UiTM WESLLAP also provides information on some English language courses offered by APB, UiTM such as ELC030, ELC121, ELC151, ELC231 and EWC661. From the Home page, visitors can Learn More on each of these courses and explore the respective pages for more information. On each page, the Course Learning Outcomes and Assessments are made available for reference. Lecturers and students can also download certain assessment rubrics.
For UiTM courses that have structured assessments, lecturers and students are able to access and download the past year papers of these courses. They just need to click the Past Year Papers button at the bottom of the respective course page for access. Listening tests are also downloadable and can be listened online.
UiTM lecturers and students can scroll down the main page and download the current APB language programme schedule under Activities in the Home page. The blended learning materials used by UiTM APB lecturers link can also be found on the same section. Just click the Go button to go to the page.
